
Yarely Reyes
Yarely specializes in working with adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, substance use, life transitions, perfectionism, abuse and anxiety. As a first-generation Latina, Yarely is passionate about working with Latinx individuals, and has a unique perspective and understanding of life within the Latino community. Yarely’s goal is to validate and honor the unique experience of those who have often gone through life unseen, unheard or afraid of speaking up.
Yarely is bi-lingual and available to provide services in both English and Spanish, providing a welcoming space for clients to engage in therapy that resonates with their cultural identities.
Yarely takes a collaborative, compassionate, and direct approach to help clients break free from societal expectations and internalized stigma. She empowers individuals to embrace a more fulfilling, authentic, and self-empowered life. Yarely has received specialized training as a Certified Trauma Professional and has additional training and experience working with individuals navigating substance use challenges. Her therapeutic approach blends trauma-informed care with evidence-based practices, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She partners with clients to explore root causes, build emotional resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
Yarely attended The Chicago School for her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from North Central College.
