Valeria is a compassionate and client-centered therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University. She is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their challenges and work towards healing and personal growth. Valeria specializes in working with children and adolescents, particularly those navigating issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, autism, and life adjustments.
Valeria draws from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT, to help her clients develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and cultivate resilience. She is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships that empower her clients to feel heard, supported, and understood.
Valeria is bi-lingual (Spanish and English) and is passionate about making therapy accessible to individuals from the Latino community. While her primary experiences has been with younger populations, she is open to working with adults and believes in the transformative potential of therapy at any stage of life.
