Rachael  is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois and is certified in perinatal mood disorders through Postpartum Support International (PSI).  She obtained her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University in 2006 and has been providing direct patient care to adolescents and adults for the past 10 years.  Rachael specializes in eating disorders, providing skills and support to assist those attempting to resist maladaptive behaviors.  She also has a special interest in perinatal mood disorders, depression and anxiety and trauma related symptoms.  She is experienced in providing group therapy to adolescent and adult females suffering from anxiety, depression and eating disorders.  Rachael’s style emphasizes a collaborative and honest relationship in order to enhance emotional, social and physical well-being.  While focusing mainly on cognitive behavioral techniques and client-centered therapies, she also utilizes a variety of treatment models where appropriate.
