Nicole is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in the state of Illinois. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and her Master’s Degree with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University Northwest. Nicole has worked with couples, families, and individuals on a wide variety of issues. She specializes in marriage preparation, marital and relationship conflict, divorce and co-parenting issues, and parenting struggles. Nicole also has experience incorporating a faith-based approach into her work with clients when requested.

Nicole is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families achieve their goals. She works hard to build a trusting, empathetic, and honest therapeutic relationship with her clients that leads to a safe place to grow and change. Trained in the systemic perspective, she believes understanding a person’s whole “system”, both past and present, is essential to the process of change. She incorporates a variety of theories as appropriate and consistently draws from Structural Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Nicole is also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. This program uses a research-based
assessment to help premarital couples prepare for marriage and married couples to enrich their
marriage.
