Mary Clare D. Graff
Mary Clare D. Graff is Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and her Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University in Chicago. She has worked in a variety of settings including crisis management, ER/Hospitals, and counseling in a medication-assisted treatment program for individuals struggling with substance abuse and heroin addiction. In addition to her position as an outpatient therapist at Oswego Wellness, Mary Clare holds a position as an Assessment Specialist for Linden Oaks Behavioral Health through Edward-Elmhurst Health Care. Since 2013, she has provided behavioral health level of care assessments, crisis intervention, counseling, and referral services in a variety of locations including Naperville, Plainfield, Elmhurst and Hinsdale.
Mary Clare utilizes a relational and integrative approach in therapy. She believes that each person seeking help deserves an authentic and empathic relationship with a psychotherapist to facilitate healing and growth. Mary Clare provides a safe, compassionate, and accepting space for her clients. She specializes in anxiety, depression, spiritual issues, and women’s issues. She utilizes evidence based treatment practices and works from a strength based orientation. Mary Clare has particular training and expertise in how the role of faith and spirituality can inform the therapeutic process. She sees patients 15 and up.
